FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions

What Do Your Class Sessions Look Like?

  • We have a school year program that runs from September-June as well as a separate summer program which offers a variety of classes and camps.

  • At the end of each session you will need to sign up again to join us for our next session.

How Long Are Your Classes?

  • We have 30 minute, 45 minute, 1 hour, 1 1/2 hours and 2 hour classes depending upon age and style. All classes meet once a week but you can sign up for multiple classes. All tuition is based on hours.

How Does Tuition Work?

  • For our school year session, our payments are monthly autopay (9 payments total if you sign up at the beginning of our school year session - first payment of two months due at sign up and then one monthly payment due on the 15th of each month from October 15th through May 15th).

  • For our summer sessions, you pay for each class individually at the time of sign up. For camps, you are paying for a week at a time and the fees are also due at the time of sign up.

Do You Prorate If We Start Mid-Year?

  • We do prorate tuition if you start late and will adjust based on your start date. Many classes fill early so we suggest registering early or even before the season begins. All classes close February 1st as we order costumes and begin preparing for our end of year recital. On February 1st, our summer session enrollment will begin.

Can I Do A Trial Class?

  • We do not offer trial classes for our summer session. Summer classes can be registered for one at a time, which gives you the option to just sign up for one to start.

  • For our school year session, we do offer one free trial for new students once we begin in the fall. However, trial classes are based on class availability. Many of our classes fill before the session begins. Email info@danceloudoun.com to set up a trial class.

What If I Need Help Choosing The Right Class?

  • Email us your age and prior dance experience (no experience is necessary) to info@danceloudoun.com and we can tell you the best options. Then you can choose the day and time that works best for you.

Do You Have A Recital Or Chances For Dancers To Perform?

  • There is an annual recital in June for all classes except tumbling and certain advanced classes.

  • We also perform an annual Nutcracker Ballet which is open to students ages 4+. Rehearsals begin in October each year with our performance in December.

  • We also have auditions in the spring for our performance teams and competition teams that perform more often throughout the year.

Do You Offer Advanced Classes?
