Our Leesburg based competition team program focuses on proper dance technique and education to create versatile and well rounded dancers that are ready for whatever their next chapter in life may be when they graduate. Our powerhouse of a team consists of over 160 members and 21 competition teams including 6 tap companies, 4 hip hop companies and 2 acro companies. Each season we take over 250 dances to each competition.

Approximate Class Schedule

All of our competition dancers take Ballet and Turns/Leaps classes for their technique foundation. Depending on the team, our dancers compete in contemporary, open, lyrical, jazz and musical theater. Dancers also have the option to audition to compete in hip hop, acro and tap.

Mini/Junior Dancers

Approximate Ages 6-9

2-5+ Hours Per Week Depending On Age, Level And Experience

Ballet Class, Technique Class, & An Estimated 1-3 Routines

2-4 Spring Competitions

Junior/Teen/Senior Dancers

Approximately Ages 9+

5-6+ Hours Per Week Depending On Age, Level & Experience

1-3 Ballet Classes, 1-2 Technique Classes, & An Estimated 3+ Routines

4 Spring Competitions + 1 Convention

Summer Requirements:

Ages 6-9: 28 Hours Of Summer Instruction At DAL

Ages 10+: 45 Hours Of Summer Instruction At DAL

*A Minimum of 15 Hours Must Be Ballet Camps/Classes

Our Leesburg based Pre-Professional Program prepares dedicated students for a future in dance through mentorship in technique, artistic quality, performance,and ambassadorship of the art form with two specialized tracks - contemporary or ballet, and the option to pursue a hybrid path. Students gain access to master classes and choreography from industry-leading faculty and guest teachers, as well as personalized guidance with college searches and applications. This program provides the foundation and support dancers need to excel in collegiate programs and beyond.

Our Leesburg based Performance Team consists of dancers, age 5-18, who have a love of performing. Dancers will grow in their dance technique and skills while becoming more confident performers. Dancers will learn teamwork and the importance of community involvement while performing throughout the school year at a variety of festival, charity shows and other local events.
