Megan Carter

Megan Carter is from Leesburg, VA grew up dancing here at The Dance Academy of Loudoun. She specializes in Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, acrobatics and contortion. She has appeared on “So You Think You Can Dance” season 7 and was voted the Best Overall Female dancer for SYTYCD” New York and Miami Auditions. Megan has been chosen to dance at many events throughout the years such as Choreographer showcase called “ Phases of Love” in Atlanta, GA to name one. Also, she was the choreographer of a video for an artist Produced by Chip Days. Megan has performed in many opening numbers at Disney World, showcase performances in Branson Missouri, San Antonio Texas, Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, New Orleans, LA and Royal Caribbean Cruise lines. She has also performed with the Manhattan Performing Arts Collective International Dance Festival in New York and Broadway at Tropea in Italy directed by Michele Assaf, Terry Beeman, Bruno Collinet, & Jessica Hendricks . She has worked with and been assistant teacher to AC Ciulla at the “Pulse” & "New York City Dance Alliance" Jason Parsons "New York City Dance Alliance" , Pamela Bolling in Orlando Florida, Travis Wall "NUVO", the late Frank Hatchett, Sheila Barker, Ray Leaper, Lisa Allain and the Late Gus Giordano "Broadway Dance Center". She continues to perform with different companies throughout the year and continues to educate here and other studios In surrounding states.
