Geralyn Ward
Performance Team Director/Instructor
Geralyn Ward is from the Washington, DC area. Geralyn continues to teach dance (for over thirty five years) and has won many choreography, overall, and high score awards at several regional, national, and world competitions. After growing up in the Pittsburgh, Pa. area (as a competitive dance student), she attended the University of Georgia, and George Mason University where she majored in dance, and performed with their dance companies. Her students have gone on to perform on Broadway, cruise ships, appear in music videos, teach, judge, and direct various dance competitions. She teaches all ages from 3 to adult in all styles of dance. She continues to be a judge (for over 25 years) on the regional and national competition circuit. Most recently her students and choreography performed in New York City and Walt Disney World. She was awarded favorite dance instructor 6 years in a row (2018-2023) in Loudoun County Virginia by Loudoun Now. She directs and choreographs for the DAL Performance Team. She also choreographs and teaches DAL Competition Team, and DAL Foundation classes. She started with DAL in 1997. Her continuing love of children and passion for dance is what inspires her.
